Black-and-white photograph of legendary Russian conductor Kirill Kondrashin with his handwritten signature in the upper left corner, dated May 19, 1975. Kondrashin was a major figure in the world of classical music, serving as the chief conductor of the Moscow Philharmonic and gaining fame through his collaborations with the greatest soloists of his time, including Emil Gilels and Sviatoslav Richter. In 1978, he emigrated to the Netherlands, where he became chief conductor of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. This signed photograph comes from the height of his career and represents a rare collector's piece.
