Author

Ludvík Kuba se narodil 16. dubna 1863 v Poděbradech jako druhý z jedenácti dětí zámečníka Ludvíka Kuby a jeho manželky Anny. 

Studoval na měšťanské škole v Poděbradech a později na učitelském ústavu v Kutné Hoře. Byl známý jako český folklorista, spisovatel a malíř, jehož práce se zaměřovala na etnografii a sbírku "Slovanstvo ve svých zpěvech". Používal techniky jako olejomalbu a kresbu. 

Po bohatém životě zemřel 30. listopadu 1956 v Praze ve věku 93 let.
