Popis
The relief blind embossing “Angel” from the studio of Miloš Šedivý is an exceptional collector’s piece created from the deep and long-standing friendship between Miloš Šedivý and the painter Vladimír Komárek. Their relationship was not only professional but deeply personal, built on trust, respect and spiritual closeness.
For many years, Miloš Šedivý has been transforming Komárek’s paintings into blind embossings, ceramic and glass works, giving them a new spatial dimension. “Angel” appears as a silent guardian on the border between dream and reality, carrying the delicacy of Komárek’s drawing together with the strength of material and light.
Vladimír Komárek’s wife, Růžena Komárková, wrote about Miloš Šedivý in the book “Vladimír Komárek in the Studio of Miloš Šedivý”:
“Very soon I saw how Vladimír’s candlesticks, plates and birds were leaving the paintings and, thanks to Miloš, gaining an entirely new dimension. Thank you, thank you, dear architect, great master with a beautiful soul. Yours forever admiring, Komárek’s wife Růžena.”
The work was created as part of a prestigious collection prepared for a future exhibition in 2028, marking the 100th anniversary of Vladimír Komárek’s birth. The blind embossing is made on handmade paper and is professionally framed and glazed.
Only four copies of each motif exist, making this an exceptionally rare collector’s and investment opportunity with clear future historical significance. “Angel” is a work that brings calm to a space, opens the imagination and preserves its artistic and financial value over the long term.
