Nabídla jsem práci v podobě věnce. Tato forma byla používaná po staletí, mimo jiné v umění, jako symbol ztráty, hoře a paměti. Věnec však také navozuje pocit jednoty a semknutosti truchlících. Vizuálně jsem tedy nevymyslela nic nového, ale připadalo mi, že v daném kontextu to zůstává aktuální a výrazné gesto, použité materiály zase doplňují a zdůrazňují atmosféru místa a krajiny.

I offered my work in the form of a wreath. This form has been used for centuries, including as a symbol of loss, grief, and memory. A wreath also evokes the feeling of unity and closeness of the mourners. As such, I have not devised anything new visually, but I felt that, in the context at hand, it is still a topical and strong gesture while the materials used suitably complement and underpin the atmosphere of the place and landscape.
