Anna Hulačová (*1984) is an exceptional sculptor who has already conquered the whole world. In her work, she combines mythology with the present, processes rural folk motifs, and literally mediates encounters of the third kind with her inimitable aesthetics. She works with natural materials such as wood, but also with concrete. Her objects are in high demand on the art market, and with her home gallery Hunt Kastner, the artist participates in many prestigious fairs – this year, visitors to the prestigious Art Basel exhibition admired her work. The concrete object resembling a confectioner's cake belongs to a small series of portraits that capture the artist's innovative approach to tradition.
