A graduate of the Glass Studio under Stanislav Libensky at the Academy of Arts and Crafts in Prague, his work has long straddled the boundaries of free art, design and architecture. In 1994, he took over and revived the legendary glass centre in Pelechov near Železný Brod, which under his direction became an internationally recognised studio for the realisation of large-scale glass objects.
