František Kardaus was a Czech industrial designer and graphic artist. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Prague and also from the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris. Already from the pre-war years, he worked with several car manufacturers such as Tatra, Škoda or Jawa. A number of famous vehicles are based on his design, such as the Tatra 603. In addition to his design work, he also worked on promotional graphics and movie posters.

The offered item is a unique original design of a Jawa motorcycle poster from 1959. The poster made on paper using tempera technique. The dimensions of the poster are 90cm x 60cm.
