The painting depicts an old man with a full beard in a blue robe, facing right and head bowed. He may be an apostle, but an attribute is missing Johann Gabriel Lentzner (1737–1800) was the son of Johann Georg Trautmann's brother-in-law. His 1765 recorded piece "Joseph Exposes Pharaoh's Dreams" for the Frankfurt Painters' Guild, which follows Trautmann's style, has been preserved. On the back, wax seal with monogram: CH, oil on wood 15,5 x 10,5 cm
