Porcelain figurine from the Prague porcelain factory depicting Johann Nepomuk Nestroy (1801-1862) in the role of Willibald. Nestroy was one of the most important Austrian playwrights and actors of the 19th century, known for his satirical and comedic roles in the Viennese folk theater. The figure depicts Nestroy in his typical theatrical gesture, in a costume with a blue coat and yellow vest, complete with a cane and satchel. On the base there is a handwritten inscription "nestroy als Willibald"
