Na počátku 20. století rozvinula nová elita expresionismus, symbolismus a novoromantismus s vírou, že toto umění najde své místo na svobodné Ukrajině. Literáti zakládali avantgardní skupiny, vlastní ideové školy – a povzbuzovali veřejnost, aby aspirovala na evropskou kulturu. Během jednoho desetiletí bylo zabito 80 % ukrajinské tvůrčí inteligence, mezi nimi bylo mnoho spisovatelů, umělců, režisérů. Tento časopis je o touze a potlačování, smyslu života a smrti.

At the beginning of the twentieth century, the new elite developed expressionism, symbolism and neo-romanticism with the belief that this art would find its place in free Ukraine. Litterateurs established avant-garde groups, set up their own schools of thought, and encouraged the public to aspire to European culture. Within one decade, 80% of the Ukrainian creative intelligentsia were killed, with many writers, artists and directors among them. This zine is about desire and repressions, and the purpose of life and death.
