The Jawa 250 “Pérák” was a Czechoslovak motorcycle manufactured by Jawa between 1946 and 1954. The predecessors were the Jawa 250 Special and Jawa 250 Duplex Blok models, and the successor was the Jawa 250 “Kývačka”. The “Pérák” has a two-stroke, air-cooled engine with a capacity of 248.5cc and a four-speed gearbox. After being presented at the 33rd Paris Motor Show, “Pérák” won a gold medal for its compact layout and for the era, modern design. It is often referred as the most famous Czechoslovak motorcycle.
