Handwritten signature with musical notation and dedication. This exceptional autograph includes a fragment from the opera Król Roger (Roxana) and is addressed to Mrs. Horničková. Szymanowski, one of the most significant Polish composers of the 20th century, is known for his original synthesis of Impressionism, exotic elements, and innovative harmonies. The document dates from May 25, 1930, in Zakopane, where Szymanowski spent the later years of his life and composed some of his key works.
