An Italian stiletto, made in the 20th century as a replica of 16th century weapons. This type of dagger has historically been used for stabbing attacks and as a concealed weapon due to its slim blade and ease of handling.
The blade is narrow, double-ground, with a central rib for increased penetration. The handle is profiled with prominent rings for a better grip. Crossbar simple, with flared ends. The blade bears traces of removed corrosion over the entire surface.
