We are offering for a charity auction the very first piece of the Special edition CZ BREN 2 Ms SE rifle. This unique firearm bears the serial number SE25-1999 and is personally signed by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Military Solidarity Fund and the Foundation for Police Officers and Firefighters.
This special edition was created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Czech Republic’s membership in NATO. Each of the 25 rifles in this series represents a specific unit of the Czech Armed Forces and its foreign mission/operation. The auctioned piece marks the year of the Czech Republic’s accession to NATO and symbolizes the deployment of Czech soldiers in international operations. It references the KFOR Joint Guardian mission and the 6th Reconnaissance Company, thereby reflecting the military career of President Petr Pavel, who served as a professional soldier, paratrooper, and member of a reconnaissance company before taking office. During his service, he participated in the UNPROFOR mission in the former Yugoslavia, where he commanded a Czech contingent and earned international recognition for leading a rescue of encircled French soldiers. Later, he served as the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, the Alliance’s highest military authority. His signature on this rifle thus carries deep symbolic meaning, connecting his personal military experience with the modern history of the Czech Republic and the values that NATO represents.
The rifle with serial number SE25-1999 belongs to the special CZ BREN 2 Ms edition and features a Cerakote camouflage finish. It is equipped with a G.I.S. linear compensator, an Aimpoint Micro T-2 red dot sight with magnifier, a SPUHR mount, and aluminum control components from the CZ Configurator – including the trigger, safety, magazine catch, and charging handle. A laser-engraved Czech flag next to the NATO flag subtly marks the occasion of this edition’s creation, while additional engravings pay tribute to the mission and specific military unit.
All proceeds from the auction will go to the Military Solidarity Fund, supporting soldiers, war veterans, and their families, and to the Foundation for Police Officers and Firefighters. Through this initiative, Česká zbrojovka gives back to the community and honors the long-standing partnership between the company and the armed forces.
