About
This original vase by architect Miloš Šedivý combines ceramics, lead and rose‑colored glass into a distinctive stained‑glass composition. Its form feels like a small architectural pavilion, opening into a crown of pink glass panels at the top. Lead joints create a clear graphic line and give the piece its structure. At the transition between ceramics and glass, a decorative ring is set with semi‑precious stones—garnets and amethysts. This ring turns the vase into a wearable‑jewel metaphor and highlights Šedivý’s love of material contrasts and detail. The ceramic surface is hand‑modeled and keeps the authentic trace of the artist’s work, so every piece is unique. While fully functional, it also stands as a sculpture even without flowers. The pink glass brings a soft, elegant color accent to the interior. It suits contemporary as well as eclectic spaces where its studio character can shine. Size 32 × 20 cm; weight approx. 3 kg, ensuring good stability. An excellent choice for collectors of studio ceramics, glass, and unusual design objects.
