height 19 cm | Lidded porcelain pot-pourri vessel from the turn of the 19th and 20th century from the French Sèvres manufactory, of ovoid shape set on scroll feet and a round plinth. The body is decorated with cartouches with hand-painted flowers, a cobalt blue band with gilt mounts and a pierced lid with a gilded finial. The manufactory was established in 1740 in Vincennes, moved to Sèvres in 1756 and belonged to the French crown from 1759. Marked on the underside.
