A hand-knotted carpet with two large geometricised medallions and stylised floral and geometric decoration in shades of red, dark blue, blue-green and cream. Woven characters in the lower part of the field, probably an Armenian inscription and date. Areas of more pronounced pile wear, minor defects, holes and losses consistent with age and use.
