Narodil se v Ústí nad Labem, od počátku 90. let žije a tvoří v Praze. Výtvarně se vzdělával v ateliéru ak. sochaře Vlada Jurkoviče, ak. malíře Vlastimila Šika a ak. sochaře Josefa Sejka.

Radovan Pauch pracuje s vlastní formou uměleckého vyjádření, jehož rukopis je jednotný, koherentní a snadno zapamatovatelný.
