Manuscript inscription on the front pastedown: "Ex libris Antonii Galli Schöttner (...) Poëta A(nn)o 1752". Condition consistent with age. A Latin textbook, the work of the Jesuit pedagogue and writer Karel Kolčava (Carolus Kolczawa). It is a collection of model letters (epistles), used chiefly as teaching material in Jesuit schools for mastering the Latin epistolary style. Binding damaged, traces of woodworm, text block in good condition. Also known as Carolus Kolczawa or Karl Kolczawa, a Czech playwright and Jesuit catechist of the Baroque period.
