A further example is held in the collections of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, inv. no. MGA 4249. A Brno photographer, a trained civil engineer. He began photographing in 1963, training under K. O. Hrubý. He was a founding member of the photographic groups Epos and Setkání. He is one of the leading representatives of the so-called new wave of staged photography. Since the end of the 1960s he has, to this day, been concerned chiefly with staged outdoor photographs of the female nude. His work is represented in a number of collecting institutions, such as the Royal Photographic Society in London, the Kodak Gallery in Sydney, the KTF Collection in Kraków, the Canon Photo Gallery in Tokyo, and the Moravian Gallery in Brno, among many others.
